Description
Priamus is a predominantly white- but also red-flowering broad bean with a wellbalanced flavour.
This variety is extremely frost hardy. It is planted in October or November and overwinters well even in northern regions.
Plants grow vigorously and harvest yields are high. Plants are mid-sized to large and sturdy.
With a thousand grain weight of about 1000g this broad bean is slightly smaller than its relatives.
Fresh beans are light green, transitioning to light yellow when dried.
Autumn planting ensures an early crop.
This variety does well even with limited available moisture in springtime.
