Description
The Red Sunflower is a flowering, richly branched sunflower with plants over 2 m tall.
It flowers in a mixture of many shades of red. The flowers fascinate with colour transitions ranging from a dark yellow, through red-orange to dark red.
The plants produce fresh flowers over a long period of time.
In summer and autumn, the ripe seeds serve as food for the birds.

Warm, sunny location with humus-rich, deep soil.
