Mustard Greens (Brassica juncea)
Light green, frilled leaves with a mild, mustardy spice. Make a lovely addition to salads or vegetable stir-fries.
Harvest like arugula.
Somewhat winter hardy, though best suited for overwintering in an unheated greenhouse.
Can be grown in planters or pots on the balcony.
Seeding dates: Feb.-Oct., or anytime if grown indoors.
