Description
Negrocine popcorn maize is a maize variety with a nutty, aromatic taste, exceptional appearance and good puffing properties. The cobs vary from dark blue to gray-black and have a silvery sheen. They are around 10 cm long. The corn kernels make great popcorn and during drying the cobs are a beautiful decoration for the home, store or market stall. Negrocine is small-growing (1 – 1.20 m) and tillers very well. It often produces five or more of its small cobs. The plants are very healthy and sturdy.
