Description
Priamus is a mainly white-flowered, but also red-flowered broad bean for use as a tasty vegetable. The variety is planted in October or November and also overwinters in northern latitudes due to its extreme frost hardiness. The variety sprouts very well and produces high yields. With a TKW of just under 1000g, the beans are rather small compared to other broad beans. The beans are light green, slightly yellow when dried. The variety is sturdy, medium to tall and early due to its winter cultivation. It copes well with dry springs. The taste is balanced.
