Description
Chinese asparagus salad is a special salad experience. The fleshy stalk is the actual yield. It is harvested before the buds form, peeled and prepared raw or cooked like asparagus or kohlrabi. The plants need sufficient space and care to form strong “asparagus”. During the short rosette stage, the outer leaves can be harvested like lettuce.
