Description

The outdoor tomato Primabella has firm, storable, strong red fruits that hang in panicles. It is high-yielding and particularly robust with a good sweet and sour aroma. The fruits weigh around 30 g and are particularly suitable for fresh consumption. Compared to other outdoor varieties, the firm fruits can be stored well and are therefore ideal for direct marketing. The variety is medium-early with strong growth and dense, dark green foliage and bears until frost. Young plants are characterized by compact growth.
Primabella currently has the highest Phytophtora tolerance available on the market.
It is particularly suitable for outdoor cultivation, but also for tunnels/greenhouses or containers, where a two-branch culture is recommended. Outdoor tomatoes can be grown unprotected outdoors. They should be regularly pinched out and tied up. An adequate supply of nutrients increases the yield, but Primabella also performs well with reduced fertilization and watering.
