Description
Excellent, slightly sweet aroma reminiscent of creamy oats.
These are regarded as a delicacy in the United Kingdom, where they are known as “oyster plant”.
Grow them like their relative, scorzonera. Harvest begins in September and lasts until the following spring. Left unharvested, plants will set lovely, purple flowers in their second year.
