Description

The common bean Dr. Becker is a stringless, strong growing bushy bean with golden yellow, tender pods and a good yield. It was bred by Dr. Becker in Ostfriesland, Germany. The pods do not ripen at the same time and require regular harvesting. Frequent harvesting and gentle picking extends the harvest period. Piling up the earth around the crop is recommended to increase the stability and nutrient supply of the plants.

Location requirements

Sun to partial shade. Deep, preferably calcareous soil.
