Description

A short, fat, mid-sized, tapered parsnip for easy cultivation and harvest on level soils.
Strong, aromatic flavour.
Our parsnips are ideal for making soups, vegetables or salads; do not peel, just brush off.
Contact with green parts of the plant can cause phototoxic skin reactions similar to those caused by giant hogweed.

Location requirements

Sun to partial shade, nutrient-rich, moist, without waterlogging.

Sowing

March – June. Sowing depth: 2 – 3 cm.

Germination

15 – 20 °C, 15 – 20 Tage.

Plantation

Keep the soil moist at all times.
