Description
Bush tomato B3/23 produces particularly juicy fruit with a balanced sweetness/acidity ratio. It is high-yielding with a rather compact growth habit and shorter side shoots. The fruits weigh approx. 50g and are suitable for processing into passata, for example, as well as for fresh consumption. Due to its size, it is very suitable for use in the assortment of farms with direct marketing and SoLaWi.
The main harvest takes place in august and september. The red fruits are easy to find due to the rather open foliage.
B3/23 has a very high field resistance to Phytophthora infestans and can therefore be grown unprotected in the field. The plants are not thinned out and do not need to be tied up. A good supply of nutrients and a constant supply of water increase the yield, but they also perform well with reduced fertilization and irrigation.
